What is percussion therapy?
Percussion therapy is a type of rhythmic massage that incorporates a power device like a drill to massage muscles using a repetitive vibrations and pulsing movements. It aims to target soft tissue soreness by rapidly stimulating blood flow to a specific area to relieve tension.
What does stall force mean?
Higher quality massagers are designed to pause the motor, as a means to protect the device. The MYOXV Gun is designed with a stall force of 15kg/33lbs.
Does the silicone handle sleeve come off?
Yes. The ergonomic sleeve is designed for increased grip and is removable.
How do I clean my MYOXV Gun?
Gently wipe the device with a damp soft device cloth and dry with a paper towel. Ensure the device is switched off when doing so.
Is the battery replaceable with the MYOXV Gun?
The battery of the MYOXV Gun is permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the high-quality lithium-ion battery lasts on average at least 3 years until it slowly begins to lose power just like a mobile phone battery. That is, after the 3 years, the operating time will slowly decrease, but you can continue to use the device.
What is the battery life?
The MYOXV Gun has a long-lasting battery life of 5-6 hours when it’s fully charged.
When and how long should I use my MYOXV Gun?
There is no set standard as to when you can use your MYOXV Gun. The stimulation can be beneficial pre, during and post training. We recommend using your massage gun in all three timeslots.
Depending on the desired result, we recommend using your MYOXV Gun for a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 2 minutes per muscle group. A full-body session should not exceed 15 minutes.
Pre-training:
Use the MYOXV Gun for 10-15 seconds in each spot to instantly wake up your muscles.
During-training:
Use the MYOXV Gun to reactivate muscles in between your exercises for 10-15 seconds on the muscle group. This will oxygenate and re-energize the muscle and allow it to move without tension.
Post-training:
After you have completed your training session, use the MYOXV Gun for up to 2 minutes on the desired muscle group, use it on the area where you want to increase the blood flow and it will help decrease muscle soreness and allow your body to recover.
