FAQ
Golf training, answered.
What exercises help your golf swing?
Train rotation with your hips stable, build strength in your glutes and hips, and keep your shoulders and upper back mobile. The three key moves on this page cover one of each, with a band, a tube and two massage balls.
Are resistance bands good for golf?
Yes. Bands and tubes load the turning, pushing and pulling the swing uses, and they fit in a golf bag. Use a light band to warm up before a round and a heavier tube to build strength between rounds.
How should golfers warm up before a round?
Spend a few minutes on shoulder and upper-back mobility, wake up your glutes, then hit a few easy shots before you build to full swings. The shoulder pass-through on this page takes two minutes on the range.
What helps recovery after 18 holes?
A round means a lot of walking and a lot of swings. Roll your feet on a massage ball or the Swap Foot Roller, ease your upper back with the Myo-X2 back massager, and roll your hips and glutes on a soft roller.
Golf at PTP
Golf training gear, explained.
A golf swing is a fast, full-body turn. It needs mobile shoulders and upper back, strong hips and glutes, and a core that keeps you balanced from the takeaway to the finish. This collection sorts PTP training and recovery gear into three phases, so you can build a kit for your game one piece at a time.
To prepare, use a Mediband to loosen your shoulders, a light Powertube+ for rotations and a Microband X to switch on your glutes. To train, add a heavier Powertube+ or the Superband Combo+ for rotational strength. To recover, use massage balls for your feet and glutes, the Myo-X2 for your upper back and a soft roller for your hips. Every band and tube comes in colour-coded levels, so you can start light and move up. Not sure where to start? Find your level in a few questions.
