About PTP

Training equipment, designed in Australia.

PTP has made resistance, recovery and conditioning equipment since 2010, working with the coaches, physios and athletes behind Australian sport. Every collection here is built around a real need: the sport you play, the result you want or the space you train in.

New to training at home? Start with resistance bands. Five colour-coded levels take you from rehab work to heavy loaded sets. Add resistance tubes with a door anchor for upper body work, and keep a foam roller and massage balls on hand for recovery between sessions.

Playing a sport? Start with football, where four bundles each come with a program in the PTP app built by Gunnar Peterson. Our basketball, rugby, baseball and golf collections sort the gear by what the game asks of your body, from jumping and changing direction to rotation and contact.

Questions

Choosing your gear.

What do I need to train at home?

A set of resistance tubes with a door anchor, a mini band, a mat and a foam roller cover strength, mobility and recovery in very little space. Our Train at home collection brings them together, and the PTP app has programs for each piece.

What is the difference between resistance bands and tubes?

Bands are flat or looped and sit around your legs or arms, which suits glutes, hips and mobility work. Tubes have handles and clip to an anchor, so they stand in for cables and dumbbells when you push and pull. Both use the same five colour levels.

Which resistance level should I start with?

Most people start at Light or Medium for upper body and Medium or Heavy for legs and glutes. On the Resistance bands page, Find your band asks what you are training for and points you to a starting level.

Who trains with PTP?

PTP works with Football Australia, supplying the CommBank Socceroos and Matildas, and works with Rugby Australia, NBA champion Matthew Dellavedova and Australian baseballer Tim Atherton. Gunnar Peterson, former LA Lakers strength coach, is PTP's Performance Director. PTP is sold in more than 40 countries.
