Integrated Strengthwear.

Performance apparel with small, removable weights, worn over the muscle, not the joint.

The science

Most people don't need a new workout. They need more resistance built into the one they already have time for.

  • 35%More calories burned, strongest responders
  • 74%Faster to training intensity
  • 3 to 4%Of body weight, the tested load

Matched-condition treadmill testing, with and without a calf-anchored load. Individual results vary. Built on the KILOGEAR placement system, in market since 2016.

How it works

Weight over the muscle, not the joint.

Each garment has small pockets placed where the muscle does the work, not where the joint takes the load. Drop a weight in and the body does a little more on every step, rep and reach. Take them out and it's performance apparel again.

  1. Start with Small. 0.11 kg per pocket. Wear it for a normal day or an easy session first.
  2. Step up to Large. 0.23 kg per pocket, once Small feels like nothing.
  3. Stack the garments. Legging plus tee plus sleeves gets you to the tested 3 to 4% of body weight.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How much weight am I actually wearing?

Each Small weight is 0.11 kg and each Large is 0.23 kg. A legging with Large weights in every pocket adds under a kilo. Stacked across legging, tee and sleeves you reach the 3 to 4% of body weight used in testing.

Why over the muscle and not at the wrist or ankle?

Weight on a joint pulls on ligaments and changes how you move. Weight over the muscle asks the muscle to do a little more without changing the movement. That is the whole idea.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Take the weights out first, then wash as the care label says. The weights wipe clean.

Is it for walking or for training?

Both. Most people start by wearing it through a normal day or a walk, then bring it into sessions. The gains in the study came from the same walk, with more work.

About the range

Integrated Strengthwear by PTP.

PTP Integrated Strengthwear is performance apparel with small, removable micro-weights built into pockets over the calves, thighs and upper arms. The weight sits over the muscle, not the joint, so every walk, run and session asks your body to do a little more without changing how you move.

The range includes the Pace legging, Form and Stride shorts, Rhythm and Hero tees, the Plyoslide vest, Motion calf sleeves and arm bands, and Small and Large Pocket Weights to set your load. It is built on the KILOGEAR placement system and tested with matched-condition treadmill testing.
